With the set custom domain name, end-users can access Web/API applications with custom domain names set in your applications.
In order for the custom domain name to enable, it is necessary to place the CDN at the front of the application and you need to manage DNS record of a custom domain name you own with DNS record management function provided by CDN service.
About root domain setting to CDN service
In order to manage DNS records such as CNAME using the DNS record manager provided by the CDN service, you need to delegate the custom domain name you own to the CDN service.
Please specify the name server domain name provided by the CDN service as a "Name Server" setting of your DNS management service(Route 53, GoDaddy, DNSimple, etc...).
About CNAME record setting in CDN service
- Custom Domain Name: www.example.com
- Your Application domain name: example.arukascloud.io
If you link the assigned your application arukascloud domain name (example.arukascloud.io) of arukascloud.io as the CNAME or ALIAS record of the custom domain name (www.example.com) you own in the DNS record management manager of the CDN service, https: / HTTPS access to /www.example.com will be redirected to https://example.arukascloud.io.
